Job Description

Our busy legal firm is looking for an efficient, organized legal assistant to help our attorneys and paralegals assist clients and ensure we're operating efficiently. You'll assist with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence. You'll help with answering phone calls and client meetings to sign documents. We'll teach you everything you need to know. But if you have experience in a law firm or other professional environment, work well under pressure, and are looking for a rewarding opportunity in the legal industry, we want to connect with you.
Compensation:
$22 - $26 hourly
Responsibilities:
Draft correspondence and forms that are part of the probate process Draft estate planning documents and deeds Serve as a witness when clients sign legal documents (notary commission preferred) Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to ask questions and seek guidance Help with answering the phone when others cannot pick up calls Be willing to take on other necessary administrative tasks to help the firm run smoothly
Qualifications:
Able to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a law firm or office environment as an administrative assistant or secretary Some knowledge of legal software, case management, and docketing programs High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate's degree is a plus Organizational skills and communication skills are necessary for this position About Company Keystone Elder Law P.C. is the shield that protects the middle class from the costs and challenges of getting older.
