• Hartford, CT/ New Haven, CT Office Locations Considered Michael Chambers Law is a growing personal injury law firm handling high-volume motor vehicle and injury cases across Connecticut.

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager / Paralegal who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who understands pre-litigation personal injury files and can manage cases efficiently from intake through settlement. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from signed retainer through settlement
• Maintain consistent client communication and set expectations
• Track medical treatment, identify and address treatment gaps, and ensure treatment documentation is complete
• Request, organize, and follow up on medical records and bills
• Identify insurance coverage and follow up to confirm policy limits
• Prepare files for demand, ensuring all required documentation is complete
• Work within Filevine to update case phases, tasks, and required fields
• Follow established workflows, deadlines, and internal procedures
• Coordinate with attorneys, litigation staff, and settlement staff as cases progress Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of personal injury case management or paralegal experience (pre-litigation preferred)
• Strong understanding of personal injury workflows (treatment, records, insurance, demands)
• Comfortable working with case management software (Filevine experience strongly preferred)
• Highly organized with strong follow-through
• Able to manage multiple deadlines without constant reminders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional, reliable, and accountable Preferred Qualifications
• Filevine experience
• Medical records and billing experience
• Understanding of insurance coverage and policy limits
