Job Description

Overview Small Delaware litigation firm seeks an experienced Delaware litigation paralegal or legal assistant for an immediate contract position. Particular preference will be given to candidates who have assisted with Delaware Court of Chancery trials and are familiar with courtroom logistics, exhibit management, and pre-trial procedures. The initial engagement is expected to run through mid-July 2026 and will focus primarily on preparation for a two-day Court of Chancery trial scheduled for July 13-14, 2026. The position may expand into ongoing litigation support for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include:
Court of Chancery litigation support, including general litigation support and case management Coordination of trial logistics and courtroom technology Assistance with exhibit management and trial preparation File & ServeXpress filings Preparation of confidential and public versions of filings Redactions and document formatting (Adobe Acrobat) Assembly of pre-trial filings and trial materials Coordination of subpoena issuance and service, including out-of-state service The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with Delaware state-court litigation, understanding of File & ServeXpress, strong Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word skills, familiarity with Court of Chancery procedures, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Terms:
This is a contract position with flexible hours and excellent compensation for the right candidate. Remote work is acceptable through the period leading up to trial, but the successful candidate must be available to work on-site in Delaware for the July 13-14, 2026 trial and, preferably, during the weekend immediately preceding trial. $90.00 - $120.00 per hour
