Job Description

Paralegal / Legal Assistant A busy and growing law firm is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support our expanding Estate Planning Department. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment while providing exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support to multiple attorneys to include not only Estate Planning but other various legal matters Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and general filings Maintain and organize client files in both electronic and paper systems Manage calendars, track deadlines, and schedule meetings and appointments Communicate with clients, courts, and third parties in a professional manner Perform electronic filing in accordance with court or agency requirements Maintain contact lists and assist with client intake as needed Handle administrative tasks such as answering and directing phone calls, managing correspondence, and document preparation Qualifications & Skills Prior experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, preferably in Estate Planning, Probate, or Elder Law Excellent knowledge of legal office procedures and estate planning documentation Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience with case management (i.e. Clio) or legal software is a plus Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently Requirements Working knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office Paralegal certificate preferred but not required Strong computer and administrative skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines Must successfully pass a background check Work Environment This is an in-office position. The selected candidate must be available to work Monday through Friday. Remote work is not available for this role.

$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
