Our firm focuses on family law, probate, guardianship, and estate planning. We are building a modern, systems-driven law firm focused on exceptional client service, strong team culture, and long-term growth. We are seeking an experienced Probate, Guardianship & Estate Planning Paralegal who can operate at a high level in a fast-paced environment and become a key part of our expanding probate and estate planning division. Bilingual candidates fluent in both English and Spanish are strongly preferred. Position Overview This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who already understands probate administration, guardianship procedures, and estate planning workflows in Florida and can confidently manage files with attorney oversight. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, client-focused, and comfortable handling a substantial caseload while maintaining professionalism and compassion with clients during difficult life situations. ResponsibilitiesProbate Draft probate pleadings and supporting documents for: Summary Administration Formal Administration Ancillary Administration Prepare inventories, petitions, notices, consents, waivers, and accountings Coordinate with courts, financial institutions, and clients Assist with asset collection and transfer processes Track deadlines and court requirements Maintain organized digital client files Guardianship Prepare guardianship pleadings and annual documents Assist with incapacity proceedings Coordinate physician reports and required documentation Prepare annual accountings and plans Communicate with guardians, family members, and court staff
Estate Planning Draft:
Wills Trusts Durable Powers of Attorney Living Wills Healthcare Surrogate documents Ancillary estate planning documents Prepare estate planning binders and execution packages Coordinate signing appointments and notarization requirements Maintain document templates and workflows General Responsibilities Communicate with clients professionally and compassionately Maintain accurate billing entries and case notes Manage attorney calendars and deadlines Assist with intake and onboarding of new clients Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff Help improve systems and workflows as the department scales QualificationsRequired Minimum 3+ years of Florida probate and/or estate planning paralegal experience Strong understanding of Florida probate procedures and court filings Experience drafting probate and estate planning documents Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple active files simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems Preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish Guardianship experience Experience with PracticePanther or similar case management software Notary Public certification Experience in a fast-paced law firm environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Performance and growth opportunities Paid holidays PTO Health, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) options Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding firm Location This position is based in our Fleming Island office.
