Job Description
The Luna Firm is seeking a reliable, professional, and bilingual (English/Spanish) Immigration Paralegal to join our growing team in Rancho Mirage. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of immigration law experience and be ready to immediately take on a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. Responsibilities Prepare and file a variety of immigration applications, petitions, motions, and supporting documentation. Manage a high-volume caseload while ensuring deadlines are met. Communicate with clients regarding case updates, document requests, and case preparation. Draft correspondence, declarations, affidavits, and other legal documents. Maintain accurate case records and case management notes. Assist attorneys with case preparation and strategy. Respond to client phone calls, emails, and other communications in a professional and timely manner. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of immigration law experience . Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal). Ability to independently manage a high volume of cases. Strong knowledge of immigration forms, procedures, and filing requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and other office software. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) , including juvenile court proceedings and findings orders. Immigration Court Proceedings Asylum Applications Cancellation of Removal Motions to Reopen Motions to Reconsider Family-based immigration petitions. Waivers, Adjustment of Status, Naturalization, and U Visa cases.
