Our mission is to empower people through exceptional representation, education, and support that strengthen and protect their families during times of change. We're looking for a Client Care Specialist who can do two things that rarely live in the same person: be a genuinely warm, steady presence for clients in crisis, and bring meticulous precision to the legal assistant responsibilities. One moment you are reassuring a frightened parent, the next you are assembling a flawless trial notebook. We use technology aggressively, document everything, and hold ourselves to a standard most firms in our market don't bother with. If you care deeply about people, sweat the details because you know they matter, and want your work to actually matter, keep reading.
Compensation:
$15 - $20 per hour
Responsibilities:
Be the warm, steady point of contact for clients across the life of their matter, so no one going through this ever feels alone or left in the dark Keep clients moving through their part of the case, handling logistics, reminders, and document collection, and answering non-legal questions with care while routing anything legal to the attorney Assemble court-ready exhibits, trial notebooks, and hearing materials under the supervision of our attorneys and paralegals Organize discovery, evidence, and case files so every matter is complete and trial-ready, and the legal team can find what they need without rework Handle litigation logistics, including e-filing, scheduling subpoenas and depositions, and tracking deadlines so nothing slips Keep client and case records complete and current in our systems
Qualifications:
Experience in a client-facing service role, a legal support role, or both Genuinely warm and steady with people under stress, including emotional or frightened clients Exceptional organization and attention to detail, because in this work, a misfiled exhibit or a missed deadline has real consequences for real families Comfortable adopting technology aggressively, including document tools and AI, with clean and consistent data habits Clear, precise communication, whether reassuring a client, writing for the court, or handing off to the team Strong ability to work independently in a fully remote, digital-first environment Discretion and confidentiality Family law experience, or litigation support experience (exhibits, trial prep, discovery organization), is a strong plus Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus About Company At Adelante Legal Services, we believe family law should heal, not harm.
