Job Overview I am seeking someone looking to enter the legal field. I am an contract public defense attorney looking to ad someone eager to learn about criminal law. This position will primarily be work from home with in court time one to three days weekly (typically two). There is an office location, but work from home if with an internet connection would be an option. Responsibilities Meet with clients in person and by provided telephone. Assist attorney in reviewing discovery and preparing for trials and hearings. Learn to prepare and file relevant court documents. Qualifications I am looking for someone with good reading and writing skills. Basic computer and ability to work in MS Word and Adobe pdf.
