Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal with experience in consumer protection statutes, including the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume litigation environment and is passionate about advocating for consumers. Key Responsibilities Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case initiation through trial and settlement. Draft, review, and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and responses. Conduct legal research related to CROA, FCRA, FDCPA, and other consumer protection laws. Analyze credit reports, dispute histories, and supporting documentation to identify potential legal claims. Prepare and file complaints with regulatory agencies and courts as needed. Manage discovery processes, including document collection, review, and production. Coordinate and prepare materials for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials. Maintain and organize case files within the firm's case management system (CRM). Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and filing requirements. Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and support case development. Collaborate closely with attorneys to develop litigation strategies and strengthen case outcomes. Track and meet individual and team performance goals.
Qualifications Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably in consumer protection or financial services law (Required).
Legal Knowledge:
Strong understanding of: Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
Education:
Paralegal certificate or relevant legal education preferred.
Analytical Skills:
Ability to review and interpret credit reports, billing records, and financial documentation.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional client-facing approach. Attention to
Detail:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
Technology:
Proficiency in case management software (CRM), Microsoft Office Suite, and legal research platforms.
Work Style:
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

From $28.00 per hour
