If so, Ventura Law, an established and growing law firm (founded in 1957), is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our team. We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and proactive litigation paralegal to support our Personal Injury practice in our Danbury, CT office. The ideal personal injury litigation paralegal brings deep experience in litigation, thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and excels at anticipating needs, following procedures, and identifying solutions before problems arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive paralegal support to attorneys on plaintiff personal injury litigation cases. Handle case management from intake through trial, including e-filing, file organization, and client contact. Maintain regular communication with clients to stay current on treatment status and issues. Draft pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery responses in compliance with CT Practice Book. Obtain, organize, and review medical records and other relevant documentation. Prepare cases for ADR, pre-trial hearings, and trials; attend and assist at required meetings or proceedings. Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court dates with precision. Coordinate with medical providers and serve subpoenas. Provide mentorship to junior legal staff as needed. Perform general administrative support.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 3+ years of experience as a personal injury litigation paralegal Minimum 3+ years of experience handling plaintiff personal injury litigation in Connecticut. Strong working knowledge of Connecticut court procedures and discovery compliance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail, strong organizational and time-management abilities. Self-starter who can prioritize, multitask, and troubleshoot independently.
