About the job Heidepriem, Purtell, Siegel & Hinrichs LLP is looking for a paralegal to join our team. The paralegal would support our team's representation of people bringing claims based on personal injuries, civil rights and constitutional violations, and much more. We are passionate about advocating for people who have suffered tragedies and need a voice in the civil justice system. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Modern office setting Growth opportunities Casual work attire Job Description The Paralegal will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm and its legal services program. This includes but is not limited to: Drafting and serving of pleadings, including motions, petitions, and other court filings. Drafting and serving of pleadings, including motions, petitions, and other legal documents for clients and third parties. Drafting and serving of legal correspondence such as letters, emails, forms, memoranda, forms and other documents for third parties. Drafting and serving of legal research including but not limited to: searching public records; preparing discovery; preparing responsive memoranda; preparing discovery responses; preparing declarations; preparing declarations responses; preparing forms; preparing depositions; preparing contracts; preparing contracts responses; preparing briefs; and other related documents. Performing other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Ability to work in a team environment with cross-functional responsibilities. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance.
