Paralegal

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to support a dynamic legal team specializing in medical malpractice defense litigation. This role requires someone who is attentive to detail, thrives in a hybrid work environment, and possesses excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in managing all aspects of medical malpractice defense cases, from initiation to resolution.
• Prepare, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, discovery materials, and summaries of medical records.
• Conduct legal research and support attorneys in pre-trial preparations, depositions, and trial activities.
• Maintain and organize case files using iManage or equivalent document management systems.
• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information and schedule key meetings.
• Monitor and track billable hours, ensuring accurate and timely billing records.
• Ensure compliance with court deadlines and adhere to firm policies and procedures.
