In this role, you will provide essential support across a broad spectrum of legal areas, ensuring the smooth operation of our law office and the successful management of legal cases. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will help facilitate legal research, document preparation, case management, and administrative tasks, contributing to the delivery of exceptional legal services. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development across various practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, and securities law Assist with drafting, proofreading, and editing legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity Manage legal case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw, ensuring all records are accurate, organized, and accessible Perform document review and data entry tasks to support litigation, transactional work, or regulatory compliance efforts Support attorneys with client interviews by preparing interview questions and summarizing client information accurately Maintain effective communication with clients, courts, vendors, and internal teams via phone etiquette and professional correspondence Organize and coordinate project timelines for complex cases involving multiple practice areas such as tribal law & regulations or patent law Skills Proven experience as a paralegal or in a legal administrative role with familiarity in diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, patent law, and tribal law & regulations Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw for effective case analysis and legal insights Proficiency in legal case management software such as iManage and PCLaw; experience with document review systems is highly desirable Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence with attention to detail Ability to proofread meticulously and perform transcription accurately under tight deadlines Organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy in filing and data entry tasks Effective communication skills demonstrating professionalism in phone etiquette and client interactions Knowledge of discovery, document management systems, data entry procedures, clerical tasks, filing protocols, and general administrative support functions Join us in a role that combines your passion for the law with your talent for organization!
