Job Description
Georgia Probate Law Group helps families after a loved one passes away. We are looking for an experienced paralegal to join our team. While experience in probate is a plus, it is not a requirement. We have a training program to help experienced paralegals learn probate and estate law. About the Position The paralegal in this position will help our attorneys handle estate and trust litigation cases, as well as estate and trust litigation matters. That will typically involve preparing legal documents such as petitions, letters, and notices, as well as creating the shell for discovery, caveats, and other filings. You will also be responsible for handling most aspects of uncontested situations, with attorney oversight. In addition to preparing documents, you will have a lot of direct contact with clients and will be an integral part of providing a great customer service experience to our clients. Since we work directly for family members of the deceased, the paralegal is in a position to make a real impact. That said, the most difficult aspect of our practice is the inevitable emotional ups and downs our clients experience. We have a great team and we guard our culture.
