Our clients come from over 70 different countries.
Duties:
- Serve as primary contact with the firm's French
- or Lingala-speaking clients
- Communicate with clients by email, telephone, and SMS message
- Interpret during meetings with French
- or Lingala-speaking clients
- Analyze and translate documents and conduct country conditions research
- Determine documents needed from clients, and assist clients in obtaining them when necessary
- Meet with clients via video or teleconference to gather information, review forms and statements, and prepare for court hearings
- Draft forms and documents to be filed with administrative agencies or courts
- Keep abreast of legal/regulatory/administrative changes
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Fluency in written and spoken French or Lingala
- Excellent typing and computer skills, including proficiency in using email, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and web-based applications
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Honest, ethical, conscientious
- Comfort in interacting with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and socioeconomic levels
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Authorization to work in the
US Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
