Part-time faculty are pooled positions; appointments are made on an as-needed/rolling basis. Summary of Position Master's degree in legal studies, a Juris Doctor or related field, or equivalent professional paralegal experience. Teaching core paralegal courses, including Introduction to Paralegal Studies, Torts, and Contracts etc. Effectively direct paralegal practicums. Must be able to provide regular in-person instruction as assigned. Position Information Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

Work Schedule:

Typically, Monday through Friday. Teaching assignments may be made at YSU's main location in Youngstown, Ohio, the Steubenville, Ohio location, or for remote courses. Must be able to provide regular in-person instruction as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least a master's degree in legal studies or Juris Doctor or equivalent professional paralegal experience. Able to teach standard paralegal courses, e.g., Introduction to Paralegal Studies, Torts, Contracts, etc. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
