In this role, you will provide essential support in managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution, ensuring smooth case progression and effective client communication. Your proactive approach and legal expertise will contribute significantly to delivering exceptional service to our clients while maintaining the highest standards of legal accuracy and efficiency. Duties Assist attorney with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and discovery materials specific to personal injury law Conduct thorough legal research using AI, Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools to support case strategies Manage case files using document management systems such as Needles ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and up-to-date Interview clients, witnesses, and experts to gather relevant information for ongoing cases Obtain, review, organize and analyze medical records, accident reports, and other pertinent documentation related to personal injury claims Prepare summaries of case facts, timelines, medical treatment and legal issues for attorney review Coordinate with insurance companies, medical providers, and other parties involved in personal injury claims Proofread and edit correspondence and legal documents for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with procedural law standards Maintain organized calendars for court deadlines, appointments, and follow-up actions Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and general clerical tasks to ensure efficient office operations Skills Strong knowledge of personal injury law and litigation procedures, and case management practices Proficiency with legal research platforms such as AI, Westlaw and LexisNexis Experience with document review, legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, and contract preparation Familiarity with case management software including Needles Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively Effective interviewing skills to gather detailed client and witness information Knowledge of procedural law requirements for personal injury cases Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Strong written communication skills for drafting reports and correspondence Familiarity with legal administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management systems Exceptional phone etiquette combined with professional interpersonal skills Join us in a role where your expertise will help shape successful personal injury cases while supporting our mission to provide outstanding client service.
