Temporary-to-Hire Litigation Legal Assistant

A Seattle-based insurance defense firm is seeking a highly capable Temporary-to-Hire Litigation Legal Assistant (5188) to support three busy attorneys in a fully remote role. Candidates must have strong familiarity with Washington State court rules and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive litigation support to three high-volume attorneys in an insurance defense practice Prepare and manage legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and e-filings Maintain attorney calendars, track deadlines, and ensure timely follow-up on case-related matters Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel Stay organized and proactive in a fully remote environment Support case management needs with strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through Qualifications Litigation experience, ideally in insurance defense Strong familiarity with Washington State court rules; federal experience a plus Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to anticipate needs without repeated instruction Strong communication and organizational skills Tech-savvy and comfortable working independently in a 100% remote setting Proactive, dependable, and able to prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigation assistant who thrives in a small firm setting and values autonomy, consistency, and meaningful responsibility.
