Pond Lehocky Giordano seeks a Legal Paralegal to join our highly successful New Jersey workers' compensation team in our Haddonfield, NJ office. The employee will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have a strong ability to multitask, be a team player, and maintain a positive attitude. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who demonstrates empathy for our clients and provides excellent customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities—including but not limited to: Prepare for all hearings, mediations, and fact witness depositions (including preparation of exhibits) Review Stipulations Review workers' compensation calculations and benefits documentation Review daily checks (fees, costs) Attend paralegal team meetings via Teams Draft letters and legal documents Answer calls from adjusters, opposing counsel, clients, and healthcare providers Handle daily uploading and obtaining of relevant case information from New Jersey workers' compensation systems and internal case management systems Enter attorney appearances and file documents with the appropriate New Jersey workers' compensation courts/systems Answer attorney direct line and monitor email; serve as liaison between attorney and clients by resolving routine and some complex inquiries Prepare responses to counsel, adjusters, and judges Scan documents into client files Schedule client appointments and/or telephone conferences Maintain client files in case management system, updating information as necessary Other responsibilities and duties may be assigned

Qualifications:
