We are seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our team. This position requires working on-site in our office and offers the opportunity to play an important role in supporting attorneys and clients through challenging family law matters. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, custody, child support, alimony, and related matters. Draft and prepare legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, motions, and discovery. File court documents electronically and maintain case files. Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, court dates, and appointments. Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties. Organize and maintain client records and confidential information. Assist with trial preparation, hearings, and mediation materials. Track case progress and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedures. Perform general administrative and office support duties as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of legal office experience required; family law experience preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal case management software. Knowledge of court filing procedures and legal terminology. Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; paralegal certificate, associate degree, or bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of legal office experience required. Must be able to work on-site during regular business hours. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
