Job Description

Our team is partnernig with a well-established regional law firm that is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their office in Greenville, SC. This role supports a busy defense litigation practice with a focus on construction-related matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with all phases of defense litigation, from case inception through trial Draft, format, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery Manage case files, including document organization and electronic filing (state and federal courts) Coordinate and track deadlines, hearings, and trial preparation activities Review, summarize, and organize discovery materials, including medical and construction records Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel as needed Support trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination
Qualifications:
3+ years of litigation paralegal experience (defense and/or construction litigation preferred) Strong knowledge of court procedures, rules, and e-filing systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
