REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents Ability to conduct thorough legal research and find relevant information Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other legal software expected A meticulous approach to work is necessary for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance Familiarity and relevant work experience with personal injury and criminal law
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
  • Communicate with clients, lien holders, providers, and other parties involved in cases
  • Maintain client files, organize documents, and ensure accurate record keeping
  • Assist with case preparation for trial including gathering evidence, preparing witness statements, and organizing deposition transcripts
  • Facilitate the discovery process by preparing interrogatories, requests for production, and organizing depositions
  • Review and analyze case files and medical records to determine the extent of injuries and damages
  • Request, receive, and organize discovery materials including police reports, search warrants, and witness statements
  • Interviewing clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information for cases Provide general office support including answering phones, greeting clients, and managing correspondence
