Job Description
Established West Austin litigation firm seeks full time legal assistant with experience handling a high-volume litigation docket. The ideal candidate is bright, enthusiastic, a self-starter, deadline and detail-oriented, and has at least one year prior legal office experience, with excellent organizational and communication skills to assist with case development and office duties. Experience in personal injury law and bilingualism is a plus. Most of all, you must work well with others, as this is a team environment. This is a full-time position, 5 days a week in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and calendaring depositions with counsel and clients;
- Mediation scheduling;
- Calendaring and calendar management;
- Drafting outgoing correspondence;
- Professional demeanor when corresponding with clients;
- Communicating with supervising attorneys regarding due dates;
- Assisting with billable paralegal duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous law office experience.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft products and cloud-based storage.
