Legal Assistant/Secretary Matin, Disiere, Jefferson & Wisdom Coppell, TX Job Details Full-time 9 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Legal Assistant/Secretary Martin, Disiere, Jefferson & Wisdom, a prestigious Texas-based litigation firm with offices in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio, is seeking skilled a Legal Assistant/Secretary to join our Dallas office. The Assistant will support attorneys with essential administrative and litigation support functions. This role is ideal for a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, high-performance legal environment.
The Role:
This position supports litigation attorneys in all phases of legal proceedings, from matter intake through trial.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file legal documents and proofread for accuracy. Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and handle correspondence. Maintain client files and perform conflict of interest checks. Assist with billing, document delivery, and general office duties. Ensure confidentiality in all firm and client matters.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in legal studies preferred. 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant or in a law firm. Proficient in MS Office Suite and legal document management software. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
