In this vital role, you will support attorneys by managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution, ensuring smooth case progression and exceptional client service. Your expertise will help streamline legal processes, conduct thorough research, and prepare comprehensive documentation to advocate effectively for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your organizational skills and legal knowledge will make a meaningful impact. Duties Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury litigation, including case intake, investigation, and settlement negotiations Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence Manage case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw, ensuring accurate and organized records Interview clients, witnesses, and experts to gather pertinent information for case development Review medical records, insurance documents, and other evidence to build strong cases Perform data entry and maintain meticulous case management logs to track case progress and deadlines Experience Proven paralegal experience in personal injury law or related litigation fields such as workers' compensation or family law Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes including filing procedures, document review, proofreading, transcription, and contract drafting Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines Effective interviewing skills combined with professional phone etiquette for client communication Join us if you're passionate about making a difference in people's lives through diligent legal support!
