Role Description The Entry-Level Legal Assistant will support attorneys with day-to-day litigation tasks in a full-time, on-site role located in San Antonio. Responsibilities include assisting with the transcription, proof reading and formatting of pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and trial documents. We use voice recognition software to transcribe; however you must still proofread for accuracy. The role involves managing both electronic and paper filing systems. This role also includes administrative support to our mediator as well as answering phones, assisting guests, managing correspondence, and helping ensure smooth office operations. Must understand the difference between there, their, and they're (Granmar nerds, we want you!). This is a great opportunity to grow your career in the legal field. Salary will be based on experience. Qualifications Ability to use Word to draft, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence with strong attention to detail. Strong organizational and time-management skills, including managing deadlines, and handling multiple cases simultaneously. Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite), document management systems. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills for interaction with attorneys, clients, courts, and external partners. Demonstrated reliability, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information and sensitive case materials. Ability to work on-site in San Antonio. Prior internship or experience in a law office or professional office setting is a plus, but motivated candidates with limited experience are encouraged to apply. Recruiters!
