Job Description

Litigation Legal Assistant San Antonio, TX 78207 Full-time Full-time The Herrera Law Firm is seeking an experienced Plaintiff's Personal Injury Litigation Legal Assistant with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience. The candidate must have experience in handling all aspects of the litigation process including but not limited to drafting correspondence; e-file; drafting discovery; scheduling depositions; assist with trial preparation; meet deadlines; and document production, as well as hearing notebooks. The individual must have manage deadlines with multiple priorities, work under pressure, and appropriately handle confidential information. The candidate will work directly with a litigation paralegal and a senior partner who handles complex litigation. Experienced, organized and reliable to assist in managing litigation case files, coordinate schedules, and communicating directly with clients. Spanish is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in Managing attorney calendars, schedule depositions, and assist in tracking critical court deadlines. Organize and maintain physical and digital case files in document management systems. Maintain up to date communications with clients to include maintaining up to date medical records. Assist in E-file documents with state and federal courts. Communicate with opposing counsel, and court personnel with high professionalism. Assist with trial and hearing preparation, including creating binders and organizing exhibits Immediate start.
