This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of legal practices, including estate planning, environmental law, litigation, immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law, patent law, and more. As a vital member of our firm, you will assist attorneys with case management, document review, legal research, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Duties Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and legal staff, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars Conduct legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulations across various practice areas Assist with document review, drafting legal documents, contracts, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail Manage case files and documents using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw for efficient retrieval and organization Support litigation processes through filing court documents, preparing exhibits, and coordinating discovery efforts Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of case activities, deadlines, and client information Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses as part of case preparation under attorney supervision Skills Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant within a law office setting Strong knowledge of diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, and UCC law Proficiency in legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw Familiarity with legal case management software including iManage and PCLaw Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence with clarity and professionalism Attention to detail for proofreading transcripts, contracts, pleadings, and other legal materials Effective interviewing skills for gathering information from clients or witnesses accurately Strong clerical experience including filing, data entry, document management systems use, and administrative support functions Knowledge of litigation procedures and document review processes Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality work standards Professional phone etiquette coupled with excellent organizational skills Join us in this rewarding role where your dedication will directly contribute to delivering exceptional legal support.
