Job Description

Paralegal Our client, in Waco, Texas, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in civil litigation matters across Texas in both state and federal courts. Key Responsibilities Provide high-level litigation support from case intake through trial and post-judgment Draft and assist with pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence Manage written discovery, including Requests for Disclosure, Interrogatories, Requests for Production, and Requests for Admission Coordinate and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials Handle Texas e-filing (eFileTexas) and ensure compliance with court deadlines and local rules Maintain litigation calendars, docket control, and statutory deadlines Assist with designation, discovery deadlines, and pretrial disclosures Organize and manage large-scale document productions and exhibits Prepare trial binders, exhibit lists, and witness lists; provide courtroom support as needed Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and experts Qualifications 3 to 5+ years of Texas litigation paralegal experience Preference background in civil litigation, including Personal Injury and Probate/Will Contests, but open to other practice areas Experience supporting both plaintiff and defense matters In-depth knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, Texas Rules of Evidence, and discovery practices Familiarity with Texas state courts and federal court procedures Excellent organizational, drafting, and communication skills Seeking an organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage cases from pre-suit through trial with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently Trial preparation and in-court support experience Experience with legal case management and document management systems Paralegal certification or equivalent experience preferred, but not required Benefits Medical, dental, vision Paid time off CSDAL65
