Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant to provide direct support to our litigation and general counsel attorneys. This role involves a wide range of administrative and case support responsibilities across diverse matter types. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and thrives in a collaborative, in-office environment. Strong technical skills and exceptional attention to detail, particularly in grammar and proofreading, are essential.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Maintain attorney calendars, including deadlines and filing schedules Accurately record or help edit attorney time in the billing system Prepare, organize, and maintain client and case documentation Draft, edit, proofread, and update legal documents Perform general administrative tasks (e.g., scanning, filing, copying) Coordinate meetings and manage scheduling Communicate professionally with clients and external parties Assist with billing, settlements, scheduling, and case coordination Facilitate client record requests and follow up with third parties
Education and Experience Requirements:
Some college or associate degree preferred 5+ years litigation legal assistant experience preferred Paralegal certificate or completion of paralegal program preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills 5+ years customer service or administrative support minimum 5+ years experience with Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe required Experience with other industry common tools such as file share applications, zip, etc. required Litigation support experience a must

Highly organized and able to work independently Proactive, resourceful, and willing to ask questions Strong prioritization and time management skills Professional demeanor and appearance Dependable with consistent attendance Discreet and capable of handling confidential information Flexible with occasional extended hours or weekend work This is a full-time, in-person position predominately Monday-Friday during standard business hours. Our offices are closed for major federal holidays as set in our annual Holiday Calendar. Must maintain a valid driver's license and auto insurance and have reliable transportation both for getting to and from work and for occasional ad hoc errands that may be required. Pay reflected is average starting. Offered compensation package is dependent upon directly applicable administrative and legal assistant experience.
