Position Overview This is a full-time Senior Litigation Paralegal position supporting attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation from case filing through trial and resolution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, capable of managing a busy caseload independently, and comfortable handling complex litigation matters in both state and federal court. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage personal injury litigation cases from inception through settlement, mediation, arbitration, or trial; Perform initial case evaluations and assist attorneys with litigation strategy and case development; Draft, file, and manage pleadings, motions, disclosures, subpoenas, scheduling orders, and other litigation documents; Draft and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission; Organize, review, summarize, and prepare voluminous medical, employment, and damages records for litigation and trial; Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, expert evaluations, hearings, and trial preparation; Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, experts, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, medical providers, and court personnel; Assist attorneys with trial preparation, exhibit organization, witness coordination, and trial filings; Maintain case deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and scheduling orders; Conduct regular client communication to provide updates and maintain excellent client service throughout the litigation process. Qualifications 5+ years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience preferred; Strong knowledge of Utah state and federal court procedures; Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, and litigation-related documents; Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; Experience with case management software is preferred; Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required.
