We are hiring an advanced litigation paralegal to take ownership of active litigation files at a growing plaintiff personal injury firm. This is not a support role. This is not a training role. This is a "take the file and run with it" role. What You'll Actually Do Own litigation files from filing through trial Draft and respond to written discovery Keep deadlines tight and files moving Coordinate depositions, mediations, and experts Prepare trial materials, exhibits, and case summaries Communicate directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel Use systems like Filevine, Clio, or iManage to keep everything organized Follow up when others don't—and follow up again What This Role Is (and Isn't) You will be trusted You will be expected to figure things out You will deal with difficult people You will not be micromanaged If your style is "maybe this this tough client will go away if I stay silent long enough" this won't work. If your style is "I'll circle back… again… and again… until it's done," you'll fit right in. Requirements Prior litigation experience (required) Strong understanding of litigation deadlines and procedures Experience with discovery, case management, and trial prep Ability to handle pressure without creating drama Highly organized with strong follow-through What We Value Ownership over tasks Low drama, high accountability Professionalism at every turn Team players who make others better
