Litigation Paralegal - Alexandria, VA

Harman Claytor Corrigan & Wellman, a Richmond, VA based firm seeks to hire a motivated paralegal with 3+ years of experience in civil litigation for our Alexandria, VA office. Applicant must be proficient with DC, Virginia and Maryland federal and state court filings and procedures. Applicant must be focused on providing superior work product and excellent client service. Additional qualifications include proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and document management software, attention to detail, ability to work independently, organization and time management skills. Job responsibilities include issuing subpoenas, review and summary of medical records, summarizing depositions, assistance with preparation and editing of pleadings, discovery requests and responses and correspondence, investigating case/claim background information via available internet sources and social media, filing pleadings with Federal and State courts, trial preparation, organizing and managing files, calendaring, and docketing.
