Job Description

Hancock Daniel is a growing, mid-sized firm with a national reputation as a leader in health law. We are looking for Litigation Paralega l with 1-5 years' experience to join our collaborative and energetic Fairfax, Virginia medical malpractice team in defending healthcare providers in litigation across the Commonwealth. In this position, you will actively manage litigation cases by maintaining working knowledge of assigned cases; manage files, documents, and evidence including all pre-trial discovery; manage all court and client deadlines; schedule and prepare attorneys for client related meetings; act as a liaison among attorneys, health care providers, vendors, courts and clients, coordinate flow of information with involved parties; and assist with trial preparation.
About You :
This position is right for a smart, driven Paralegal seeking to learn and grow in a team environment. You have strong verbal/written communication skills, critical thinking/problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MS Office. You are able to work independently. Bachelor's Degree and paralegal certificate preferred. An individual's placement within the range will be determined based on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, training, skills, licensure and certifications, practice area, experience, internal equity, and market data.
