Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our firm. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to attorneys specializing in catastrophic loss, handling a variety of tasks related to litigation, document preparation, and case management. Key Responsibilities Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including research, discovery, and trial preparation. Draft, review, and file legal documents such as complaints, motions, and pleadings. Organize and maintain case files, evidence, and exhibits. Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel. Review and summarize medical records. Assist in the preparation of responses to subpoenas, discovery requests, and interrogatories. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Paralegal certification preferred. 1-3 years of paralegal experience. Strong research and writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Familiarity with federal and state court procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Location & Schedule This position is on-site in our Norfolk, Virginia, office. Some overtime may be required based on caseload and deadlines. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
