Job Description
Job Summary I am seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to support my family law firm on a part-time contractor basis, with quick room for additional hours and increased pay based on a proven ability to support my firm operations and provide superior client support. Your expertise will help streamline internal business processes, manage legal case files, answer phones, schedule appointments, process mail, file documents at court, draft pleadings, and prepare other essential documents and forms for family law matters. Requirements Paralegal experience with a strong background in family law Familiarity with project management techniques to handle multiple cases effectively Knowledge of procedural law requirements across different local jurisdictions Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence with attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with legal administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, proofreading and transcription Ability to communicate professionally via phone and email while demonstrating excellent etiquette Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification from an accredited program is preferred Regular in-office hours required, but also flexibility to work remotely on occasion as needed.
