This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive support in complex litigation matters across various practice areas, including personal injury law and medical malpractice law and more. The Senior Litigation Paralegal will play a vital role in managing legal case files, assist in discovery, conducting detailed legal research, drafting documents, and coordinating with attorneys to ensure smooth case progression. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced paralegals eager to contribute their expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services. Duties Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, and trial support. Manage and organize legal documents using document management systems such as Filevine. Conduct thorough legal research utilizing Westlaw and other legal research tools to support case strategies. Draft and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy, relevance, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Coordinate interviews with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather pertinent information for cases. Maintain meticulous case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely submission of all required documentation. Support project management efforts by prioritizing tasks effectively and collaborating across teams to meet case objectives. Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, transcription, and managing communication via phone etiquette. Stay updated on relevant laws such as estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, tribal regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, securities law, and family law to enhance case support. Skills Extensive paralegal experience with a strong understanding of litigation processes across multiple practice areas. Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with PCLaw is a plus. Demonstrated expertise in legal drafting, proofreading, transcription and document review. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent project management skills to coordinate tasks efficiently within fast-paced environments. Familiarity with document management systems like iManage and contracts management tools. Effective interviewing skills for gathering detailed information from clients and witnesses. Knowledge of various areas of law including personal injury law, medical malpractice, probate law. Superior administrative abilities including clerical experience, data entry accuracy, filing procedures and maintaining organized case files. Exceptional communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for liaising with clients and stakeholders.
