Job Description

Assistant Drafter for the Drafting Department (Legal Documents) Rehberg Law Group is a boutique estate planning law firm in SeaTac. We currently have an opening for a full-time motivated and culturally-aligned Assistant Drafter to join the Drafting Department. Rehberg Law Group is a small law firm that has been serving clients since 1968 in the areas of estate planning and estate administration. We offer a friendly, family-focused environment for employees who enjoy working in a team atmosphere, where excellent client service and top-notch work products are the standard. This position is responsible for providing the requisite administrative and drafting support needs of the Team, which includes the following:
  • Creating, editing, revising, and proofreading of documents;
  • Mailing or e-mailing drafts to clients;
  • Process incoming and outgoing client communications (e-mail, mail, and phone calls);
  • Assist with client document copy requests;
  • Prepare a variety of template letters for new and existing clients; and
  • Updating Department tracking spreadsheet and other administrative tasks, as needed.
Qualified candidates should have:
  • An Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in the legal field.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Advanced skills in Windows Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Hot Docs creation system and WealthCounsel is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong proofreading skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

The right person will be outgoing and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, adaptability, as well as strong customer service and communication skills. Compensation for this position ranges from $45,000 to $60,000, depending on applicants' qualifications.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
