Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
: The Public Records and Risk Prevention Officer is responsible for districtwide statutory compliance with the Washington State Public Records Act and coordination of risk management functions, including coordination of all Risk Pool claims, investigations and property claims. This role exercises independent judgment, para-legal level analysis, and professional discretion in managing public records requests, contracts and leases, and compliance support. The position serves as the district's designated Public Records Officer and provides support to executive leadership. The role also provides back-up coverage to ensure continuity of operations within the Superintendent's Office as needed.
