Job Description

We currently have a career opportunity for a full-time (40 hrs./wk.) Paralegal based out of our corporate office (Enterprise) in Appleton! The Paralegal works under the supervision of the Deputy General Counsel / Risk Officer to provide legal support for various departments. This role is transactional in nature and assists in vendor management, collecting and analyzing vendor due diligence, and the preparation and review of corporate contracts and research projects, as assigned. The primary responsibilities of the Paralegal role include but are not limited to: Promoting and upholding the Fox Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values Analyzing and negotiating vendor contracts and agreements Researching and ensuring compliance with both state and federal regulations Providing advice under the guidance of Chief Legal Officer Assisting Deputy General Counsel / Risk Officer, Chief Legal Officer, Audit, Compliance, and BSA in supporting various matters, as needed Candidates for the Paralegal position should possess: 2-5 years of legal or similar experience Previous financial institution experience is a plus Paralegal degree or equivalent, or working towards a Paralegal degree is a plus Notary certification, or willingness to become a Notary Ability to work off templates, including editing information Ability to work independently and effectively Attention to detail and organization; process-oriented Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects across several departments Ability to address problems and make continuous process improvements Willingness to work on a broad variety of legal and corporate matters Commitment to professionalism and personal growth, with the ability to scale and grow with the organization Fox Communities Credit Union is an over $3 billion in assets community-based credit union serving more than 130,000 members at over 20 locations.
