  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estate Planning Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team.
In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing, reviewing, and managing estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives. Your expertise will support attorneys in delivering exceptional service to clients by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency throughout the estate planning process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful legal work while developing your skills in various areas of law.

00 per hour Job description: We have an opening for a full-time paralegal to join our Law office team, that assists clients with estate planning, probate, and asset protection planning needs. Must be available for at least 35 hours/week between Monday-Friday. We can be flexible as to daily schedule. Fridays are required.
Responsibilities:
  • Typing, formatting, proofreading and/or finalizing documents, from dictation, handwriting, or existing documents as directed by the attorneys.
  • Maintaining electronic and paper files of legal documents updated contact lists, and company files.
  • Maintaining calendars of attorneys and organizing meetings, for clients consults and/or legal document signing.
  • E-filing documents and mailing documents as directed by the attorneys.
  • Regular case review meetings with supervising attorney.
  • Performing additional client work as directed by supervising attorneys.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in Estate planning, Medicaid planning or Probate law preferred, but not required.
  • At least 1 year of paralegal experience required.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Must be detailed orientated, with excellent proofreading, grammar, and spelling skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and interface with clients professionally and effectively in person and on the phone.
  • Exceptional technical skills required, as well as strong organizational, communication and client service skills.
  • Strong computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and client contact database.
  • Excellent time management, prioritizing skills, and ability to adjust to a changing work flow.
  • Position requires high level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
