Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Receptionist/Legal Assistant to join our busy law Elder Law and Estate Planning firm. Responsibilities Answer calls and help with client intake, assist the senior paralegal and attorney Help with estate plan signings Greet clients, visitors, and callers with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a positive first impression Manage the reception area, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and directing inquiries efficiently Maintain and organize legal files using document management systems Assist with legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools to support case preparation Prepare, proofread, and review legal documents, contracts, correspondence, and reports with accuracy Conduct document review and data entry for various cases involving estate planning, environmental law, family law, litigation, and more Coordinate meetings, interviews, and client consultations while managing calendars effectively Assist with filing, document management, and maintaining compliance with law office procedures Provide administrative support including phone etiquette, organization of case files, and clerical tasks such as photocopying and faxing Skills Exceptional phone etiquette combined with professional interpersonal skills for client interaction Experience supporting project management tasks Familiarity with data entry procedures and maintaining meticulous filing systems Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team setting

Pay:
$23.00 - $27.50 per hour
