Job Description

Job Overview Ivy Legal, LLC is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Paralegal. The ideal candidate will be energetic, highly organized, and possess a strong foundation in legal research and document management. As a Paralegal, you will play a key role in managing case files, preparing legal documents, conducting research, and providing administrative support. This position is perfect for someone eager to develop their legal expertise while contributing to impactful legal work. This position will initially be primarily remote while the firm transitions into a larger office space. During this period, the Paralegal will handle tasks remotely, with occasional in-person duties as needed. Once the firm's office expansion is complete, the position is expected to transition to an in-person role at our office location. Applicants should be comfortable working remotely initially and transitioning to an office-based environment in the next few months. Duties Assist with case preparation by conducting thorough legal research using LexisNexis Draft and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity Manage case files using document management systems like MyCase; ensure all records are organized and up-to-date Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, scheduling meetings, and tracking case progress Proofread and transcribe legal documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedural standards Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to legal requirements and firm policies Experience Prior paralegal experience in a law office environment Demonstrated expertise in legal research using LexisNexis Proficiency with legal case management software such as MyCase Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently Proven experience supporting attorneys with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, transcription, and clerical duties Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy Strong communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette Compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position. This is a part-time position (24-30 hours per week). This is not a large-firm role. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys taking initiative, building relationships with clients and industry professionals, solving problems, and helping shape the future direction of a growing law practice.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
