Parking Enforcement Specialist City of Orlando - 3.9 Orlando, FL Job Details Full-time $18.19 - $23.19 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Outdoor work In-person customer service Driver's License Full Job Description Salary Range $18.19-$23.19 Job Posting End Date - Applications will no longer be accepted starting 06-11-2026 Job Summary Performs responsible specialized work enforcing City ordinances governing vehicle parking; issues parking tickets and places thirtyfive pound immobilization devices onto vehicles having excessive unpaid violations. Upon completion of training, work is performed with limited supervision, requiring the use of independent judgement, and the ability to communicate effectively with potentially irate citizens. This position requires the ability to stand/walk/ride a bicycle for extended periods, ride a bicycle throughout most shifts, work in inclement weather and lift up to 35 pounds.
WORK SCHEDULE
The position requires you to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must possess valid Florida Driver's License. Must successfully complete a sixteen (16) hour training program (Parking Enforcement Certification class) within 6 months of employment. Ability to deal with the public required . Polygraph examination required prior to employment. Extensive public contact handling complaints desired .
