06 -08-2026 (11:59 PM) To Qualify Minimum Qualifications.Applicants must:
Possess a valid high school diploma or GED equivalency. Possess and maintain a valid Driver License. Possess and maintain a valid Motorcycle Endorsement - or - must obtain and continue to maintain the Motorcycle Endorsement within five and one-half (5-1/2) months of appointment to the position. Have at least two (2) years of supervisory experience. Be skilled in providing excellent customer service and employing excellent interpersonal communication skills. Be familiar with street names and locations within downtown St. Petersburg. Be able to work a flexible schedule including working evenings and weekends. Have previous experience working with the public. Be able to prepare reports, maintain records, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Be able to supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate parking enforcement personnel Desirable Qualifications.Preferred applicants:
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Have some understanding of computer technology. Have previous experience in parking enforcement or a related field. Have knowledge of parking regulations, citation procedures, municipal ordinances, and customer service practices.
