Atlanta, GA Job Details Part-time $15 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Full Job Description The Parking Ambassador at The Works - Upper Westside Atlanta located at Chattahoochee Ave serves as a visible and helpful presence to customers in parking facilities and public areas. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, monitoring compliance with parking regulations, issuing citations when necessary, and supporting overall parking operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide courteous and professional assistance to patrons regarding parking regulations, directions, rates, nearby amenities, facility locations, and payment processes. Greet and assist the public in a friendly and professional manner. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or concerns with professionalism and resolve minor disputes on-site. Patrol designated areas to monitor parking activity and ensure compliance with posted regulations. Issue citations or warnings for violations in accordance with local ordinances and internal policies. Operate handheld or mobile devices for issuing tickets and recording activity. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, providing accurate information or escalating issues as needed. Serve as a liaison between the public and parking enforcement or security personnel. Report maintenance or safety concerns related to parking lots, garages, meters, or signage. Assist during special events with traffic flow and parking management. Maintain a neat and professional appearance and act as a representative of the organization.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required. Prior experience in customer service, public safety, or parking operations preferred. Ability to walk or stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Comfortable using mobile technology and handheld devices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or confrontational situations.
Work Conditions:
Outdoor work in all weather conditions. Flexible schedule may be required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. May involve walking long distances and standing for extended periods.
