Parking-Operations at Georgia State University is seeking a Parking Enforcement Manager to join our team. The Parking Enforcement Manager will lead the daily operations of the university's parking enforcement unit. This position is responsible for supervising enforcement staff, managing citation and adjudication processes, and helping ensure fair, consistent, and customer-focused enforcement of university parking rules and regulations.WHAT MAKES GSU A GREAT PLACE?

The Parking Enforcement Manager serves as a key liaison with university event operations, campus safety, and the university's third-party towing provider to support safe, effective, and well-coordinated parking operations across campus. This role requires strong leadership, sound judgment, operational oversight, and a commitment to customer service in a dynamic university environment.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
•Parking Enforcement Operations:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the parking enforcement unit. Oversee enforcement coverage, staffing assignments, scheduling, and deployment of officers across campus parking facilities and lots. Ensure consistent and professional enforcement of university parking rules, regulations, and procedures. Monitor enforcement activity and operational trends to improve effectiveness, compliance, and service delivery. Respond to escalated parking enforcement issues and complaints as needed. •Staff Supervision and Leadership:
Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate parking enforcement staff. Establish performance expectations and promote accountability, professionalism, and customer service. Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of enforcement personnel. Foster a team culture focused on consistency, responsiveness, and continuous improvement. •Citations and Adjudication:
Oversee citation issuance, review processes, documentation standards, and record accuracy. Manage adjudication-related processes and provide administrative oversight for citation appeals and parking enforcement hearings. Support and coordinate the work of the adjudication board to help ensure fair and timely review of appeals. Identify citation trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for policy or process improvement. Ensure citation and adjudication processes are administered consistently and in accordance with university policy. •Campus Coordination and Liaison Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison with university event operations to support parking enforcement planning and traffic coordination for campus events. Work closely with university campus safety to address parking-related safety concerns, incidents, and operational needs. Serve as the department's primary liaison with the third-party towing company to coordinate towing activity, communication, documentation, and issue resolution. Help ensure towing and enforcement actions are carried out appropriately, consistently, and in alignment with university procedures. •Customer Service and Issue Resolution:
Promote a customer-service-oriented approach within the enforcement unit. Assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors with parking enforcement questions, citation concerns, and related issues. Handle sensitive or escalated situations with professionalism, fairness, and sound judgment. •Reporting, Compliance, and Administration:
Maintain accurate records and reports related to enforcement activity, citations, appeals, towing, and staff performance. Support compliance with university policies, departmental procedures, and applicable regulations. Review enforcement and citation data to support decision-making, staffing adjustments, and operational improvements. Assist with updates to procedures, training materials, and communication related to parking enforcement.Disclaimer :
