Job Description

Job Summary The Parking Assistant supports the daily operations of the universitys parking and identification services. This role assists with the issuance, renewal, and management of campus parking permits, ensures proper enforcement of parking regulations, and helps maintain a safe and organized parking environment. Additionally, this position involves ID badging services, including printing and distributing identification cards for students, faculty, staff and vendors. Key Responsibilities Process parking permit applications, renewals, and replacements for all campus community members. Maintain accurate records of issued permits and related payments. Assist with enforcement of parking rules and regulations in coordination with Campus Safety. Issue, print, and laminate color ID badges for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Respond promptly to inquiries about parking and ID policies via email, phone, and in person. Support the coordination of special event parking logistics. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling personal and financial information. Participate in training and maintain knowledge of updated parking systems and ID technology. Performs other related duties as assigned â‹ Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred. Prior experience in customer service or administrative support. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Microsoft Office-Excel, Outlook, Teams Ability to work with databases, spreadsheets, and ID printing software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Work Schedule Work hours 8-4:30 except for peak times of the year when its based on departmental and campus needs Hourly Position $17.50 per hour
