We are striving to become the premier parking service provider in the Pacific Northwest by being the best at what we do. In order to fulfill that mission, we need to hire the best candidates to continue to help us grow. We are currently seeking Parking Lot Attendant/Enforcement Agent with customer service skills and a willingness to learn. No prior experience in the parking industry is required.
Summary:
Successful applicants will be responsible for maintaining a busy downtown Portland parking facility and a variety of parking facilities in the Portland, Oregon area where you will be responsible for issuing citations to customers that are in violation of parking rules. Parking Attendants work at locations where customers' vehicles are self-parked. Duties include but are not limited to: Provide excellent customer service Maintain a professional appearance Maintain cleanliness of parking facility Maintain proper functioning of facility equipment Proper usage of timekeeping system Some shifts may have additional duties and responsibilities (such as janitorial work) Report any significant issues to his/her Supervisor with any necessary documentation Ensure the quality and efficiency of general operations at the location • Following a designed route utilizing public transportation or company vehicle, move between worksite locations checking vehicles to ensure proper parking payment or identification is displayed throughout most of the day. • Write complete and precise citations via the handwritten ticket book or the phone/printer combination. Ensure the citation is placed in the citation envelope and in plain view on the customer's vehicle. Follow all company rules, regulations and expectations as outlined in the Employee Handbook and the on-site Standard Operating Procedure guide In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed above, Parking Attendants are expected to complete any other tasks assigned by his/her supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Provide excellent customer service English language proficiency (other language skills a plus) Excellent written and verbal communication skills A current valid Driver's License, a clean driving record and proof of insurance is required. Able to communicate well with customers, supervisors, co-workers, etc. Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Familiar with Star Park Employee Handbook Able to learn policies and procedures of Star Park, as well as policies and procedures specific to assigned location Parking Attendants/Enforcement Agent must be able to withstand working and standing outside (with and without cover) under all weather conditions for the duration of his/her scheduled shift.
Benefits:
Employees that are Full Time working 30 or more hours a week are eligible for benefits after 60 days. Star Park, LLC offers competitive pay, medical and dental insurance and sick and vacation pay.
