Job Overview Join our team as a Part-Time Parking Enforcement Officer and become a vital part of maintaining safe, organized, and accessible parking environments within our community. In this energetic role, you will actively monitor parking areas, enforce parking regulations, and ensure a positive experience for residents and visitors alike. Your proactive approach will help uphold parking standards, manage conflicts efficiently, and contribute to the overall safety and orderliness of public spaces. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to serve the community while developing valuable skills in law enforcement, customer service, and conflict management. Responsibilities Patrol designated parking areas regularly to monitor compliance with parking regulations and identify violations. Issue parking citations or warnings to vehicles that are improperly parked or violate posted rules. Assist the public with questions regarding parking policies, directions, or general inquiries in a courteous and professional manner. Document incidents accurately through detailed report writing, including observations of violations or safety concerns. Maintain accurate records of citations issued, reports filed, and daily activities to ensure accountability and transparency. Requirements Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to write clear, concise reports documenting daily activities and incidents. Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods throughout the shift. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required A proactive attitude with keen attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Ability to perform duties outside in all types of weather This part-time role offers an engaging environment where your efforts directly impact our community.
